Drawer catches are designed to break. It is SIMPLE. The people that make them design them to break. You can order a part, replace it and sometime later it will break. Using some Neodymium rectangular pot magnets completely eliminates moving parts. I originally intended to rout out the cabinet side and recess the magnet into the cabinet but after testing like shown here, there is no reason to fix what isn't broken. A couple people could not notice the one drawer was slightly farther out than the other.
