Carbon Monoxide Detector
I've never
been comfortable with battery operated smoke and CO detectors. You could easily
start a trip without checking them only to find you have a dead battery. I do a bit
of Wal-Mart parking (poke-poke) and find myself sleeping with the generator on. I
wanted a bit more protection against CO poisoning.
I bought an AC-operated model and clipped the cord back to what I needed.
It's interesting to watch the thing read CO levels when cooking in a fully closed up motorhome. The levels are always low but ... wouldn't you like to read what your CO levels are?
