Wolf's Roadtrek Motorhome Modifications ... and Other Stuff
Fixing the electric input
Connecting power to the Roadtrek is a pain in the ass. You have to get down on the ground, all the way, and shove whatever cord you are using through a rat-hole. Stupid design. I added a port to the driver's side just behind the water heater. I can now hook up without gettting down on the ground. There are many styles. I chose a fifty amp version for a couple of reasons. First, it was about a quarter the price of other versions. Second, when camping in mid-winter I want ample power to keep the rig warm. Third, it was a quarter the price of other version. And it was cheaper. I now carry these cords: Fifty amp, thirty amp, twenty amp, and a dual corded tweny/thirty cord.
