A nice trip to three nice parks.

July 1

Met the manager.  A guy by the name of Sheehan.  His brother is Chief Bailiff at the Justice Center and he is from Cleveland ... even lived in Fairview Park.  We took a long walk on Dogwood Trail.  It was hot and humid and the bugs were awful.  But ... it is by far one of the best maintained and marked trails.  Although there is precious little to do here, it is nice.

July 3

Barkcamp has a dynamite beach but is is too far for biking.  A car is a must.  It is again very hot and a few hours after swimming we are all seated up again.  I think we may try an electric park for the air!  Hot hot hot hot hot.  It has a nice antique barn and trail (1/2 hour will do it).  Again, walking in the woods is fun but that is about all there is to do.

A list of our favorites:

Camp beaches with electric:

1.  Alum -- no walking

2.  Blue Rock

3.  Cowan -- but goofy

4.  East Harbor

5.  Grand Lake St. Mary

6.  Indian Lake

7.  Pymatuning

8.  Harrison

9.  Kiser

10.  Pike -- One of the best but hard to get to

Great walkers:

1.  Caesar Creek

2.  Delaware

Pool and electric:

1.  Hocking

July 4

This is being written on the Delaware State Park beach.  We opted for electric and after finding Alum Creek full, decided to go home.  Before doing that, we called Delaware and found a site open.  We roared over to Delaware (literally roared!).  We have a fine site and are driving to the beach.
