OH MY GOSH THE GOOSE POOP!

July 14

One of the kids wrote:

Taday we are at Lake Loramie.  We went to the beach.  They have a neat playground.  It is very pretty.  The beach is very close.  There are a lot of Blue Heron.  But there are a ton of geese and there is a lot of goose poop.  We are wondering if there is more poop than there are geese.  It is nap time.

Dad follows:

There is so very much goose poop that we left.  This is the only state park where there are tons of Blue Heron.  Lots and lots of them.  The office says they are nesting on an offshore island.  The beach is an easy bike ride and easy walk.  Just SUPER except for the goose poop.

July 15

Yuck!  We left and went to Alum Creek SP.  The north beach is closed but the south beach is open.  Super!  We are on G9 - a good site.  But the north side might be better.

A great couple of days.  Lots of naturalists programs and swimming and biking and fun and fun and fun.
