Having fought so hard for so long to keep from improving this state park campground, the State finally put in two rows of electric.  It isn't much but it is a start.

That being said, when the weather is dry the trail systems is first rate.

December 21, 2007

After my most difficult semester, one that ended with five difficult finals, I am free.  I think I am, anyway.  I find myself so backed up with others stuff that I haven't seen what others call "down time".  I went from my last final to come home and leave for my first day on midnight shift.  Whew.  So here the dogs and I are!  Down time.  Except that I'm listening to a CD on contracts law.

Site 231 is excellent for wet-weather camping.  It has been fifty degrees and this site's mixture of pine needles and gravel has made it ideal.  The dogs are coming in filthy, but how often do I get out?

December 22-24, 2007

We opened the curtains the morning of December 23 to find four deer had come to visit!

No one invited came to visit but we still had a good trip.  The deer were constant companions, their battle for life now with hunters rather than weather.  Winds were to be up to sixty miles-per-hour but that did not come to be.  A bit of wind, warmer then colder weather, pretty snow showers.  muddy dogs, the winter works.

Why does the moon look so small when photographed?  What can one draw with the moon?
