Having fought so hard for so long to keep from improving this state park campground, the State finally put in two rows of electric.  It isn't much but it is a start.

That being said, when the weather is dry the trail systems is first rate.

I don't know if I really want to fall today ... maybe tomorrow!May 10-13, 2008

Moosie and Gracie are just now coming out of their funk brought on by the death of Fritz.  There are now campers here and they have so much to look at, so much to do.  I'm just out of Spring, 2008 finals and am done!  Sort of ... as I now have the PMBR recordings having to do with First Amendment issues.

We did a bunch of walking.  Moosie would walk while looking up at the many buzzards.  I had forgotten my wood so we were unable to have fires.

There were owls!  LOUD Great Horned Owls!!!  I was going to call them in but couldn't get my tape player door to unlock.  I broke the lock trying.  Darn it!

Sunday morning showed heavy rain on the way.  We beat feet and got home, cleaned up and grilled a burger just in time for the rain to start.  Cool.
