Having fought so hard for so long to keep from improving this state park campground, the State finally put in two rows of electric. It isn't much but it is a start. That being said, when the weather is dry the trail systems is first rate. This has been a cooler-rainier part of the year than we had been used to. While we are still getting our walks, it seems that wet is the name of this weekend. I didn't even bring wood figuring the on-again, off-again rain would ruin the fire. Now that I'm here, it is apparent I should have brought wood. Darn it! This is my first trip after having passed the bar. I am due to be admitted to practice on May 18, the last hurdle, one which requires no study, no preparation. This is the first trip with no cloud, no apprehension of mountains left to climb. It is also my first trip where the "now" isn't in issue. The "future" is. And that's the theme for this trip. I'm setting up the future. We took a bunch of
walks, read, worked on some ideas for the law practice and rested. For up-to-date park maps and information, check the Ohio State Park website for Findley State Park |
